As much as I love dressing up I will never shy away from a good maxi dress. What I love about them is the versatility-you can dress them up or down. Because I have to dress up during the week for work, I try to be as comfortable and casual as possible on the weekends. Maxi dresses like this one from Forever 21 are so comfortable to wear. Paired with a pair of Vans and a sick pair of sunnies and I’m good to go. Speaking of sunglasses how cool is this pair from Quay Australia?! I got them for free when I attended the NYX Cosmetics Face Awards. They are literally my favorite pair right now.
Did everyone catch the activity in the sports world this past weekend? What were your thoughts about it? For me this weekend was just another example of why its so important to live unapologetically. Each player risked their fans and funds (those million dollar endorsement deals are hard to come by) to stand for something that they believed in. Sometimes we will have to take a stance that goes against popular opinion. What will you do? Will you take a stand (or a knee) courageously? Or will you cower under the pressure of your peers?
