If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I recently took a trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico for a quick weekend getaway. I won tickets to see Hamilton while in Puerto Rico with Lin-Manuel Miranda reprising his role as Alexander Hamilton and couldn’t wait to get to the island. I focused on packing colorful, summer style outfits to stay cool in the warm island climate.
Since I was only going away for the weekend, I used my carryon to travel which means I didn’t have room for a whole bunch of extra accessories. I tend to keep my accessories pretty minimal on a daily basis so it wasn’t hard to pick out simple, unique pieces that would pair perfectly with multiple outfits.
With that in mind, I have to say my new JORD Frankie Sandlewood watch was definitely the star of the trip. Its simple design is offset with absolutely amazing craftsmanship. To be completely honest I sometimes forget that the watch is made out of wood. The dark brown band is so comfortable and the open face made from sapphire glass really give the watch that classic look that works for every season. I LOVE the rose gold detailing of the Roman numerals. JORD managed to make a watch that was both feminine and commanding at the same time and I’m obsessed!
