The Ultimate (Realistic) Apartment Cleaning Schedule

One of the most important lessons we learn growing up is how to manage our own home. From the time we are little, our parents set out to teach us all of the essentials we’ll need to one day leave the nest and thrive. These lessons include how to manage our finances, make doctors appointments and (probably the least fun) keep a clean home. I know many of us woke Saturday mornings to the sounds of our mamas blasting Anita Baker or Patti Labelle. All it took was a few seconds of Anita crooning Sweet Love and we knew it was time to grab the Comet and Clorox.

I’m so grateful that I was required to help clean my house growing up. Now that I have my own place, I know exactly what needs to be done to keep my space tidy and organized. And if you love to entertain guests like I do, this is super important. No one wants to come over to your place if it’s dirty sis! These past few months of living alone have helped me tailor my personal cleaning schedule. It’s unrealistic to commit to cleaning your apartment top to bottom every single day. By completing certain chores on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, you can ensure that your apartment is always ready for an Architectural Digest feature. Take a look at the realistic apartment cleaning schedule below to help you maintain a spotless apartment.
