17 Books to Read in 2017

We are already five months into 2017. Time is really flying by! I can’t believe my graduation from undergrad is less than a month away. One thing I’m looking forward to after graduation is finally getting back to reading for leisure, not a lecture. I’m an English major so I read a ton of books for school but most of the time they aren’t books that I actually enjoy. Once I walk across that stage, I plan to get back to reading for me. I made a personal goal to read a MINIMUM of 17 books this year. Here’s what is on my to read list:

  1. Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes
  2. The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous, and Broke by Suze Orman
  3. I Liked My Life by Abby Fabiaschi
  4. #GirlBoss by Sophia Amoruso
  5. Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult
  6. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
  7. Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi
  8. The Shack by William P. Young
  9. The Defining Decade by Meg Jay
  10. Falling for Me by Anna David
  11. We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche
  12. Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates
  13. The House Girl by Tara Conklin
  14. Around the Way Girl: A Memoir by Taraji P. Henson
  15. The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo
  16. The Food of Love  by Anthony Capella
  17. Trail of Broken Wings  by Sejal Badani

I’m always looking for new titles to add. What’s on your reading list this year? Share it with me in the comments below. Oh, and before you go, please share this post with your friends.
